Hi all!! I need some advise. I have tried this morning to get hold of anybody that can sell me iBurst.
Phoned each and every number on the iBurst site, Pressed each and every button option on the automated service from sales to janitor but nobody picks up the phone. The "please hold we are busy" music is such that after 20 seconds you are irritated like hell. I am trying to get hold of a Pre Paid package advertised as R999 but as I said "No Help". Oh and the "email us" option on the website brings up a "Apologies an error has ocurred in the myBurst system. Please try again later or call client services on 0877 20 20 20" message.

If I have so much trouble just trying to get a sale done what is the support really like? Is it really as bad as I can read in these forum topics? What trouble will I have when trying to redeem vouchers purchased at Pick n Pay?:confused:
 
Some people dont have a choice if their telkom exchange is not ADSL enabled.
 
rather go 3g and if you can get adsl its not worth the hassel going with iburst

+1 IBurst will be nothing but trouble. You want Internet not frustration. If ADSL is not a option get a 3G dongle or a 3G enabled router. Goodluck
 
Also, Ronald, it's funny how you guys respond on the forum very quickly when somebody wants help to join but nobody responded to my query (viewed 300 times) from Iburst about my triple bill for a 1 Gig top up and me wanting out of the contract due to horrible service. How about servicing your existing customers and not ignoring their issues. I am going to the small claims court against you guys, your whole company makes me sick and the way you handle your customers. And tell your billing team to answer their friggin' phones, otherwise I will be sending you guys my phone bill for holding for hours on end without an answer or a resolution!

Edit: is it just me or have thing gotten a million times worse since shaun left us? The man is a miracle worker

Save yourself A LOT of headache's. Try this first:

1) ADSL
2) Telkom 3G
3) Vodacom 3G
4) MTN 3G

Ronald, your insincere standard phrase apologies from you and Gcebile mean nothing. You guys can't even comment to let the customers know what is actually going on in your company. Because the perception of the customer is bad, really bad to be honest....

Yup, since Shaun left, I-Burst came much worse (not that this was even possible) because he was the only one who gave a sh*t about good customer service.

Ronald, I also PMed Gcebile last week sometime and she never responded but I will PM you my details now, not crossing my fingers for any luck.
