You definitely won't regret it ;) traded my wii for a 32" plasma...although LCD is my gaming panel, i can say i never missed the wii either...i've played about 100 ps3 games in teh last 24 months...playing on average a game every week and i've been more than satisfied...

Nothing really, just check you on 3.01 firmware and the network set up is pretty simple...

Ja, unlike the xbox's networking (which never seemed to work consistently), I just plugged in the network cable and shared my connection (iBurst USB modem:sick:) and the PS3 immediately picked it up! I downloaded the 3.01 software on my pc though, as the download through the PS3 seemed hella slow!

I can't get PS3's web browser to work though... the PS3 shop and other online functions work fine.
 
Damn. Got to get myself one of these consoles but hey they are costly. I'm not a gamer, never have been, but my kid will be. I need to improve her eye-hand coordination:D So what will it be?... Xbox or PS3...or the upcoming HD Wii?

Well the Wii HD is still just a rumour so we don't actually know any hard facts about it... but between die Xbox and the PS3: it's hard to say because both consoles are amazing! Both consoles have their pro's and their con's.

/me hopes I didn't open up a hornet's nest of xbox/ps3 flaming!:erm:
