I've been feeling 50/50 about this saga for a while. What do you guys think? Should LVG go? Whether he is fired or he resigns.

On one hand, I feel he should get more time and I also feel the players have not been performing at the levels required of them. Rebuilding takes time. Perhaps we don't even have the players required to carry out LVG's tactics, but then I think back to last season when we were on that six game winning run. We were playing attacking football and it was entertaining. So what has changed?

On the other hand, it seems the same old boring tactics that doesn't seem to yield any results. The fans were as unhappy with Moyes and he didn't last long either. I understand the club's reluctance to come across as a sacking club but surely you cannot keep a man in charge just to keep up appearances, to the detriment of the club. To add to this, LVG himself seems to doubt his abilities. How are fans and the board supposed to trust a man who doesn't even trust himself?

What do you guys think?

Perhaps a kind mod/admin can set up a poll for us please?

One thing to consider, LVG has stated that he will retire when his contract with United ends (in 2017).

If they can't find a decent replacement, then yes.

Heck, if we don't win tomorrow then anyone will do. He's had enough chances.

Already out of the UCL and top 4 looks more unlikely every week.

This. I want him to sign a 10 year contract with you guys :D

I won't vote though - I presume that you'd like ManU fan votes only

Nope, anyone can vote. I would also like to hear people's opinions on the matter. But don't vote for him to stay just because it will possibly improve your teams' positions :D I want an honest vote. Do you think he should leave Man Utd either way?

PS: Thanks to the mod/admin who created the poll

Damn - ok, I'll try to be unbiased.

He should be shown the door as soon as possible - his approach is old and outdated and he has sucked all creativity out of your team.

He is trying to impose a pattern of play irrespective of the individual skill sets at his disposal and appears to be unable to help players (Martial, Depay) from outside the EPL adapt to the EPL. He, unlike Fergie, doesn't seem to know how to mould a team around it's strengths, preferring to shoehorn them into a bland, one size fits all, pattern.

He is terrible with the media, defensive, aggressive and bristly - he drops howlers and is a huge source of amusement to fans from other teams.

On the field he is unemotional, cold, distant and uninspiring and appears not to know how to 'lift' your players. His personality is all wrong for a club with your history and passion - it reminds me of Liverpool in the Hodgson days - another manager who didn't 'get' the club or it's fans.

Your club atmosphere has become toxic as opposed to inspiring - fans leaving early, fans booing, etc. It's a chore watching you play - and watching football shouldn't be a chore.

So, as a Liverpool fan, long may he reign, as a football fan, get rid of him as soon as you can.

Now where did those 3 "No" votes come from...

Interesting thoughts. Thanks for your comments :)

This amicable relations between Liverpool and MU fans must stop!!

Btw, I voted No. I am a Man United fan and I want us to do well. Coach with a lot of success, and that six game winning streak from last year gives me confidence. Confidence slowly being eroded by our performances this year. Maybe I should have voted yes, because my reason for voting no was that I want us to be successful again and with the current coach I think it may happen sooner than if we got in another new coach.
