Should Twitter add an 'edit' button?

Elon Musk has taken a 9.2% stake in Twitter to become the platform’s biggest shareholder. On Monday evening, Musk asked Twitter users in a poll if they wanted to have an edit button. Do you think this feature is needed?

Twitter practically owes that line, and the edit button thing being an April 1st announcement, I can't see them make this big change any time soon.

What they should address is everyone now who once embraced short messages, turning the Twitter wall into a text board. They should provide a native long board, and allow that board to be edited which isn't paywalled.

Twitter has become a news aggregator service.

It won't work, legislation in regard to protection allows humans to 'purge' themselves. The ability to delete posts will remain.
