Vaping is worse than smoking, at least with smokers the cloud of smoke is smaller, vaping makes these massive clouds that you can't as easily avoid.
At least with vaping that "cloud" is largely made up of water vapour - in other words... it's a cloud. Smoke on the other hand... not so much.

I have no idea what it consists of but I dislike the smell. Not that smoking is any better, it smells even worse.

I am a vaper and think ITO where you can vape should be regulated the same as smokers, but I'm not entirely on board with it being taxed in the same manner. But, this is government... They'll find any and every way to add to the coffers they pillage.

I never saw the appeal of some of the flavours. It's like having tea flavoured coffee.

Vape myself and dislike others going out of their way to cloud you out. I am always mindful of who is up wind and move or wait until I can vape again. There will always be that minority.

It should be done away from others just like normal smoking. If you sat with a bottle of axe body spray and kept spraying it over people sitting close by it would be considered inappropriate. The fact that it may not contain nicotine doesn't matter its filling the air with compounds others probably don't feel like inhaling the whole time. But vapers tend to treat it as if its just normal to blow vapour everywhere. And the same goes for incense as per a prior question. I don't want to sit at work or in a restaurant smelling your cheap ass Chinese ground up dolphins.

They're the last people you should be concerned about.

Compare a room with 50 smokers and another with 50 vapers.

Which one will leave you coughing after 30 minutes...

I mean look, the thing about vaping is... well... imho I keep on holding out for the starter note because
it looks like you are about to play a recorder (the flute).

In other words, you look like a p*es.

Yes. It's obnoxious to breathe clouds of vapour that smell like unicorn farts all over other people while they're trying to eat

I put other as the decision as to what people can do with their property should reside with the property owner. So, if a bar or a restaurant wants to allow or ban smoking, or vaping, they can do it, so long as they don't pollute outside of their property.

You as a smoker/non-smoker don't have the right to impose your preferences on the owner of a property.

So that is the legal question sorted.
The social question is that property owners should have separate areas for people who want to smoke or vape if they want to accommodate everyone.

Socially, vaping should be treated the same as smoking. often I have people who just pull out a vape in my offices and think it's ok to do this amongst other people. No, go outside and do it. Nobody wants to breathe in your cherry scented nicotine laced garbage. Seriously, get a life! But mostly, vaping should be banned because it's naff. It's not cool. Smoke something real that burns, like a cigar or at worst a Cmel mild.

This. It might be a cloud, but sit near a table of people vaping and its really kak being blanketed in their clouds. Doesn't bother me generally, but sitting near them - screw that.

Sitting near cigarette smokers bothered me far less than billowing vape clouds that smell like a 7 y/o's idea of what smoking should taste like.

Loaded question perhaps.

Treated as smoking - Yes, not everyone wants to inhale your kak.

SIN taxed - Hell no, people should be allowed to buy their stuff without guavament implementing their ideals on others.
