I opted for the english stuff as well and laughed at the afrikaans terms. Poor kids have no fcking clue really, even though they're learning programming... real world means you have to interact with more than 1 developer and it becomes a bitch to try to explain to a Pakistani guy what your variables meant and that he needs to herstewel the system 
So I keep to english. I only wish I was taught Math in english too, would make my BSc degree go so much smoother
