Because AL3 is unique, nothing like stock. It's veeeeery pretty ie. material design. And the developer is worth supporting ;) I bought AL2 and now AL3. Best money I've spent on the play store.

There doesn't seem to be a paid version available in the Play Store (only AL2)

I hate 'in-app' purchasing - nickle and diming...

To an extent, I agree, but it's a cleaner way of doing it. It is a bit cumbersome to have to download a free version, then download a "Pro" key afterwards and install it, especially when switching phones / ROMs. IAP keeps the purchase history intact through a single point of installation.

Ok, so there is only 1 IAP then? Looked like there was various stuff you could buy IAP

AL3Plus or GTFO!

I've never understood the appeal of Action Launcher. It's more cumbersome to navigate than just organising yourself normally with launchers like Nova Launcher.

My most used apps are on one of two of my homescreens, all apps I don't need to ever open and those on a homescreen are hidden from the drawer. The drawer has a separate tab for games. This means the app drawer has a small selection of lesser used apps, games are non-existent until I want them and commonly used apps are right in front of me.

How does a phone book of apps make your life easy?

My most used apps are in the quick page to the right. Any other app I remember by name and can quickly jump to that app via a slide of the finger of the first letter of the name.

You don't have to like it, but like I say, GTFO! :D

To each their own.
