Agreed. There's actually very little need to root the device these days. I did it for asd2 but these days that feature is standard with 2.2...

Not really much as my DHD is on Stock Rom un-rooted but here goes:

What app are you using to control the mobile data, wifi, sync etc?

That was a stock Settings widget for DHD with that theme applied. I have since switched to digital management using a combination of Juicedefender and PhoneUsage. Explaind Here
