Nice! Thoughts on the Marine Nationale?
I really like it, although I do like changing straps and would feel a bit limited with the fixed lugs. You thinking of getting one?

In other news, WANT:

Saw these today online and really like them too. Not super expensive either. Yes, it's not going to be a real Speedmaster, but they do have an appeal.

Saw prices of around €250.
Oh in that case, I hope they're coming to SA, have my eye on a couple of variations. I reckon they'll be speculated to hell like cruddy Rolexes overseas.

Just wish there was an all black version, but maybe they'll do a DSOTM in the future.

Swatch does make affordable automatic movements. Why not use one of their sistem51 auto movements in this SpeedMaster homage design?
There is ZERO collectibility in quartz watches.
That movement was unserviceable?

I don't typically buy quartz because I irrationally hate the beat per second juddering tick. Even G-Shocks and X33s are affected. So my grab and go is a G Shock square. However I'll make an exception here because its bloody gorgeous and the tick is less jarring on a small seconds register.

I was also put off by the Quartz movements on these but there's no denying these look good and probably the only way I'd ever be able to afford a "Moon" watch.

Anyone know where I can get a cheapy refurbished.
It has leather straps that were affected by mould
