Eish, at least put a battery in it !
It's just 1 of those GuessGooi pics mnr
It's probably a Quartz then. Maybe you lucky and it just needs a battery? Probably not worth to fix if it's anything else wrong with itIt's just 1 of those Guesscheapies my lightie got as a gift from someone but he doesn't want to let go of it.
Nothing fancy at all

Ah, ok. To be honest, straps are pretty cheap so you better off just replacing it? There's some real nice ones from Archer and Barton you can look at? You'll just have to figure out the lug width. It's just the strap that needs sorting out.
Mouldy
Wouldn't shower with a watch at all. Steam and heat are not good for the seals and it only takes seconds to take the watch off.So what water resistance do you need to be able to swim / shower with a watch?
Bit expensive. For same money you can get an okayish automatic instead. And I'm sure to import to SA will double the price again.I guess some of those swatches look nice, but definitely not for me.

But it seems to be in high demand...
Poor man's Omega.
Totally nuts. Even for the $1k that seems to be more common.Yeah agreed. I was in Edinburgh this weekend, and the queues outside the Swatch store were insane. I mean EDB is busy most of the time, but this was just something else. I don't get it... £200 for a plastic Speedy. Much better spending a little more and getting an auto Seiko or Orient. But I mean, its a stroke of genius from Swatch given the hype its generated. But my god, seeing them sell for $4000 on Ebay is ridiculous.
No.. was just curious about your thoughts since you're an owner of the original Pelagos. I have tiny wrists so unfortunately its too big for me. Saving up for a BB 58 though - if the Mrs allowsI really like it, although I do like changing straps and would feel a bit limited with the fixed lugs. You thinking of getting one?
You don’t. They were only sold at select physical stores on release date. SA wasn’t part of it. Maybe they might become available on line at some point but we don’t know when/ifwhere does one get these in SA ? i would like to get a hold of a couple
