Shuttleworth sticks with Ubuntu

I do have OpenOffice 3.0, and it does have some basic functionality, but it really needs more work to raise it just a little more in terms of functionality and (don't laugh) beautification. I mean, the application just looks so...plain. But besides that, the documents also look very plain. Maybe it's just me...

Shouldn't it remain opensource (read: free, non-profitable)? I mean, as I understand it, that is Linux's main attraction point. :confused:
