No man can predict the future.

Wise men can make extrapolations, if they are well informed, have plenty of
information at hand and have a longterm view of humanity.

The future has not transpired, the path we are taking is not set in stone,
there is no known way to predict the future.

What can happen is that ordinary humans like Nostrodamus and Siener van Rensburg who are passionate and obviousely creative thinkers, can write mystical visions just like you would find in Revelations - which was also written by ordinary men.

This type of imaginitive writing is a type of fantasy - a dooms fantasy, which those who are open to indoctrination, absorb as if it is the elixir of life.

These poor delusional, indoctrinated and superstitious followers are desperate for the truth, for some way to know what is happening and what is going to happen, invisible facts are discovered between lines and words, meanings are attributed to the meaningless, and valiant attempts are made to ignore the illogic of it all.

Invisible meanings, inivisible gods, yep the world sure is hung up on that which eludes.

This may explain a lot of things -
20 days of education, reading one book for the rest of his life...

Surely if I only read say, the Lord of the Rings for 55 years, my entire understanding of anything that came into my head would have a reference to the only story I knew.

Which to me is quite interesting in itself as he had no outside reference. Lets say he did see Chernobyl in his vision. How would he describe such a complicated thing as a nuclear power plant with his limited field of reference? People are saying his symbolism is too basic or simple but what else did he have to work with?

Another thing I have come to learn is that the visions written down by his daughter weren't the only ones he had. There are a few people that have written down visions he related to them and there are also the stories told.

He did not describe a nuclear power plant.... he mentioned a boiler. It was the "academics" who interpreted this to mean Chernobyl.

If I had a dream every night and mentioned these to someone I knew, is there not a chance that at some point something would happen which could be interpreted as being the manifestation of the dream I had? Of course it could. Does that make me a seer? I think not...

The problem is that for every one "correct" prediction I would have had thousands of incorrect ones. The thing is people cling to the one coincidentally correct one as it gives them hope that man can predict the future. They want to believe.

The symbolism is obscure at best.
I dont think that we are able to attach values or meanings to his symbols.
Our current points of reference/values/knowledge/influences are completely different.

It is too easy to apply his visions to past events - hindsight is always 20/20.

I am not willing to accept that his visions at this stage with anything less than direct evidence linked to the symbols.

So if Mr. Cain can show me how he sees the direct evidence, then I am more than willing to look at it again as anything but the ramblings of an illiterate, racist, bitter old man.

yes...I have a perfect example.

I spoke to a friend of mine that was spending a couple of nights in jhb for business.
Asked her how it was in Jozi and if she can hear the bullets flying past her. All in jest.
The following day she was caught in a gunfight at a mall between security guards and hijackers.

Was it a vision? No. :p
The chances of it happening in Jozi is rather high and it was a question/statement from my point of reference using the influence I have - media, friends and family.

Again, if the first is true then the rest make sense.

But who says a red bull will be England or a blue bull is Germany.

If you accept that 3 + 2 = 7

then it would be fair to assume 5 + 2 = 9 or 1 + 2 = 5.

Siener himself explained the symbolism.
He also explained some of the visions himself.

Very very obscure, again could mean pretty much anything you wanted it to mean. How this thread got to 600+ replies is amazing considering the "predictions" seem like not much more than drunken ramblings.

Somehow i think it is divine intervention. How else could it have survived on a openly hostile forum?

You should really read the book. Then we will talk again. Here is the English version. http://www.israelect.com/reference/WillieMartin/SEER.htm

I think you will be amazed at how many hundreds of Sieners visions were correct.
I doubt if one was wrong.
There are still a few more that has to be fulfilled.
Read the book.

How could he describe a Nuclear power plant 50 years before the technology existed for nuclear fission?
Electricity and the way it was generated was foreign to him.

How do you explain Sieners reference to a " petrol factory"(quoted verbatim) long before the technology existed to make petrol from coal?
Also the correct location for the petrol factory (Sasol) in Sasolburg when cars were few and far between in 1902?)
On commando in the area he said this is where the petrol factory will be built 50 or more years before there was a town?

It's not openly hostile, just openly skeptical.

I think you will be amazed at how many hundreds of Sieners visions were correct.

I've yet to be convinced of a single one - the least of which would be Princess Diana.

In fact the more I read the more I believe this ou boer had severe personality disorders and mental delusions.
That's apart from seemingly quite a mommy's boy as well which may or may not have added to his introspection.

One thing I notice - he had little or no visions about South America, north Africa, Australasia - possibly because the only world he knew was that of the English invaders, Europe and Russian communists.

More surprisingly he had few if any prophetic visions of Israel and the middle-east.

What self respecting prophet doesn't have prophesies about Israel.

Master_Cain, a question, if I may? Do you perchance belong to the religion that refers to itself as "die verkore volk" or "die israeliete"?

No, i do not. The Religion of some of the Boere- Israelites is mainly based on the following photograph.
What is of particular interest to me, is the origins of the New South Africa flag.
I did not know that it is an adaptation of the old "Suid Afrikaanse republiek flag, with the spear of the nation inserted.
Interesting.

...lordy lordy...
this is turning into an intresting thread after all...

Considering that the only literary work he had was the Bible.

LOL!
The Bible a literary work? Some even describe the Bible as a fantasy story. It is the first time i ever heard anyone saying that the Bible is a literary work!

This is the biggest crock os shyt I have ever seen :D

1. You don't seem to know what the "4 kleur" is ;) The original "4 kleur" was the flag of the "Old Transvaal" it had no badge on it. Which makes any reference to it in that picture null and void :p

2. The new flag crap had me rolling on the floor laughing :o
