This isn't quite related or made by Sierra but I remember playing Wing Commander II, Strike Commander, Seawolf, Syndicate and Sim City 2000 (among others) on my first PC, an Intel 486 DX4-100 with 8MB RAM and a 540MB hard drive, with MSDOS6.22 and Windows 3.11 for Workgroups.
We had to boot DOS into himem to have enough RAM to run the games, although 8MB was plenty back then
Brings a tear to my eye... I think we need an old school PC's and classic PC games thread to reminisce about the good old days.
PS. Thank goodness for gog.com and DOSBox, so today's kids can experience a bit of the good old days
