SIERRA On-Line Documentary

Games I started with was KQ5 and SQ4. Loved GFQ series as well. Still got the complete collection of all of them on my gog account.

Still remember buying KQ6 on floppy disc and had to go to a friends house to transfer it because I didn't have a floppy drive.... :) Great game.

The other Sierra game I really liked was Gabriel Knight, although it had some dodgy puzzles.

I never remembered that The Legend of Kyrandia series was made by Westwood Studios.

A shame that Blizzard never got to publish their own point & click adventure game,

it would have probably not have been a good fit for their market in any case.

Favourite part of SQ4, especially if you had the voice pack. "You lick the sewer, it tastes strangely like blood. Wait a minute, that is blood, you shredded your tounge! Your momma should have warned you about licking strange places." Or if you click the hand button on your self "Hey! This is a family game!"
The voice narrator for Space Quest 4 and 6 was probably one of the best I've heard in an adventure game..

It had a really amazing voice cast if you got the CD version.

Tim Curry - Gabriel Knight
Mark Hamill - Detective Mosely
Leah Remini - Grace Nakamura
Virginia Capers - Narrator
Michael Dorn - Dr. John
Jim Cummings - Desk Sgt. Frick
Linda Gary - Grandma Knight
Rocky Carroll - Willy Walker
Dorian Harewood - Toussaint Gervais
Jeff Bennett - Sam Singleton
Leilani Jones - Malia Gedde
Susan Silo - Madame Cazanoux

GK3 had a nice cast as well including Tim Curry, Billy West, Jennifer Hale and Golden Globe winning British actress Samantha Eggar :p

It's a shame there's never been a GK4. In GK3 if you type in GK4 on the in game computer you get an article about ghosts, so there definitely was going to be another game but then Sierra was bought by Vivendi and they only wanted to focus on action oriented games. It sucks because I felt like the ending of GK3 was sort of "to be continued". The creator of the series has tried many times to make GK4 but unfortunately Activision owns the rights and they don't give a crap.

I'm pretty sure Activision is also to blame for the lack of a No One Lives Forever 3

Bastards. No One Lives Forever was amazing, I'd happily play another of those.

Actually you can play it, there are various versions in the wild that makes up the one version. It's ok, but I didn't get too far into it...

It is terrible, the game is hardly baked in the state it was left. I didn't play it, but I watched a retro reviewer do a let's play with commentary.

Yup two of my favourite games of all time. Contract J.A.C.K though was terrible. I actually thought it was Nolf 3 when it was released
