Silent 140mm Fans

Yes, I'm asking for advice! :p
Basically looking for silent 140mm fans with high static pressure. I will be using a fan controller as well. Can be sourced locally or abroad, doesnt make a difference. So far the best bet seems to be the Noiseblocker PK3.

Any more suggestions?
 
They also draw 30W :/
I've actually rethought the static pressure and anything above 1mm H2O will be fine, dont need it to be extra high. Added Thermalright TY and Nanoxia DX into the mix as well.
 
Why oh why did they make a 140 fan with 120 spacing? 26.5mm depth (vs standard 25mm) is also kind of irritating :/ I'm fussy arent I? :p Maybe I can work somethnig out to fit the TY's in...

The Thermalright Silen-X's have normal 140mm mounting spacing, and are right behind the TY-140 in terms of performance, friggin cheap too, brilliant fans, also arguably better colour scheme.

I think I've got it narrowed down to the Silen-X and Prolimatech Blue Vortex. $2 more, but 25% more CFM, and according to one review, quieter than the Noiseblockers which should mean its roughly the same noise output as the Silen-X
Gah, that was a mission and a half! At least its down to two now :) Many thanks!

Hm, I find it hard to believe that it has 25% more airflow at the same dB, that would be some OUTSTANDING fan that would then blow the TY-140 out the water.. I could believe 5-10%.. But I tend to go with information from comparative tests from sites I know are trustworthy, and then still analyse the data properly.
But cool! :)
 
Well worst case they perform the same but I like the looks of the Prolima more, so not too bad. Will likely be a coin toss in the end to choose between the two

Hehe, yep, but actually worst case is that it is noisier and specs have been overinflated like they usually are, and you spent more money! ;)

I can't find any decent "reviews" that don't just reiterate what's on the box, can you post what you found?

So lots of extrapolation! Lower temps than noiseblocker PK2 = either more CFM or static pressure. I'll take either. And then they did subjective tests (not the best I know) and claim its quieter than the PK2
