Silent Hill 2 remake

Actually leaning towards getting this now, especially with the regional pricing. But only a day or two after release.

From the visuals I've seen, the remake provides an eerily realistic environment, almost like you're behind the guy with a camera, recording the whole thing.
The puzzles and story have also been tweaked to include more content on the history of Silent Hill, I'm truly excited about this!

Maybe one day when I really have nothing else to play or do I'll give it a try but remakes for me are usually a bit disappointing and inferior to the originals.
 
From what I can see, the reviewer got frustrated by the puzzles that had been fleshed out, I'm all for that, gives me more time to experience the horrific environments late at night with a 3D pulse headset on :D:popcorn:
 
I'm a hour into Silent Hill 2 after a break from Cyberpunk and I feel like this game drags. Any reviews from Mybb crew or can I delete?

I'm yet to finish it. I think it was and is so fare the more tense game I've played, but then again I play all my horror games when I can in pitch black with noise cancellation headphones.

Then Cronos and Silenthill F awaits.
 
I always found the lore of this silent hill town all over the place. Are they in purgatory? Do you get there by inhaling the fog/smoke? Why tf doesn’t anyone crap a protective barrier around them when they see the evil stuff there but instead continue moving forward?
