Did you switch the charger voltage down? They have 2 modes to charge, fast gets very hot and the fans go wild.

The Mecer 720watt and 1440watt on 10amp charging mode is the best of the lot regarding fan noise. The fan also switches off when charged.

Believe it's 25a from ac according to the manual. However it's got a regular 10amp 3 pin plug attached so think mecer has dropped it down. The inverter is generic Mecer has rebranded it
