Sim to old to use for LTE?

I have a old Cellc sim, its working fine on 3g but does not want to register on LTE.

Could it be that its to old and I have to swim swap? @Cell_C

Are you even sure it's an LTE-enabled sim card? Old sims don't just magically work on LTE, I had to do simswaps for both me and the wife to get LTE-enabled sims.

Yes, LTE relies on LTE-enabled 64k or 128k sims.

Its a old 128k black sim that does not even have the smaller cut outs for smaller nano and micro sims

Are you even sure it's an LTE-enabled sim card? Old sims don't just magically work on LTE, I had to do simswaps for both me and the wife to get LTE-enabled sims.

This is an old one from the Whoosh campain. These SIMs may not be enabled for LTE by default, My Giga 100 SIM 2 years later wasn't. Call a call centre.

Yes, LTE relies on LTE-enabled 64k or 128k sims.

Actually the size has more to do with MNCs used to identify preferred networks for roaming. Older sims however may need to have their network side profile enabled for LTE.
