I'm looking for a simple explanation of what Darwin's theory of evolution says, summed up in a couple of lines.

To answer the original question, try:

"Survival of the people by the people for the people."

Or was that

"Survival by the people for the people of the people."?

Or something like that.

Darwin's Theory of Evolution: The progression and development of single-celled organisms to complex living animals\plants through genetic mutation and adaptation over a very long period of time.

Is that ok?? :/

Pooky : why don't you report all the posts you feel were out of line. Personally I think the first few were just fine, people pointing you in the right direction to do your own homework...

Come people. We have evolved, act civilised :p

Hey Pooky, I heard Darwin discredited his own theory on his death bed...did ya know that
Still not sure exactly what his whole theory was about. Your previous post helps, but I know that there was more eg. Natural Selection etc.
