By a colleague of mine:

This was for 1 toll that one of my sisters company vehicles traveled through.

FOR ONLY ONE (1) ETOL TRANSACTION DATED 5TH DEC FOR R16-89

Received in post yesterday (28th Jan)

14 separate envelopes (sent permit mail)
39 pages (colour printed)

How much did Sanral lose from this transaction?

14 separate envelopes - Cadre owns the supplying company so it's fine
39 pages (colour printed) - Cadre owns the supplying company so it's fine

How much did Sanral lose from this transaction - Cadres and gravy are more important so it's fine.

I would Like to know where they came up with that figure. R16-89 for one gantry is highway robbery.

Geez.

That R16 probably also includes interest, overdue fees and all kinds of bollocks.

To think all this could have been avoided did they choose the fuel levy, but then like Hemi says WWTCG (what would the cadres get)?

Everyone do the same :D drive through the cheapest gantry and then query it - repeatedly

When to fetch post yesterday and found a notice in there that I should collect a very important document from the post office. Problem is it ended up in my mailbox on the 19th (if the slip is to be believed) and would be returned to sender on the 31st (the day before) if not collected. 19th Dec was the first time i drove through a gantry so maybe this was an invoice from SANRAL.

...hope they send it back and i happen to collect my post in time :erm: :D

Sanral is sending invoices by normal post. notice to fetch mail is for registered mail.

Serious ? :P

And on another note. Post office is on strike and has been from Monday last week. So if you are banking on getting the invoices ontime to pay with a discount, dont hold your breath
