I want to replace my old TV in the bedroom. Now these have good prices.
This will be for my PS2 and just the general tv I watch.

We have the a TV in the living room with all the bells.

Yay or Nay?

nay....

Word on the mybb streets is that TV (SD) won't look very nice on it

It's an awesome screen for Hi-Def Stuff but for normal TV I heard the performance is poor. maybe settle for a smaller Samsung?

1 - what's ur budget?

nah i would say go for it.
not bad pic quality and great warranty plus the price is not too bad

Have a 32inch Sinotec(HD Ready) for about 6 months now and its poor quality on some SD channels but when it comes to gaming and DivX it rocks.Best buy for me and my XBOX:)

Also have a Sinotech 32 R3999, going on 9months now - and besides SABC channels on DSTV everything else looks good - Blu Ray rips are awesome.
Tested Monsters Inc Blu Ray, Star Trek Blu Ray before December , sucks going back to SD TV quality :(

Doesn't Welfare tv (SD) look better on a plasma?

For general TV get a plasma. Displays SD TV much better. Should be better for PS2 too, I hear it isn't good on wide LCDs...
