sixty60 - checkers app

I know this is the Checkers App, but I also tried PnP ASAP App, what a disaster. The first delivery got to a wrong address and I had to redirect the courier.

The second order only an hour later was not delivered at all, while PnP claimed that I received it. They even called me a liar when I told them I didn't receive the order. It took 3 weeks before I got the money back.

Checkers Sixty60 always worked well for me, apart from a few delivery drivers that got lost and had to be re-directed (I know my house is hard to find, that's why I put directions in with the order, apparently they don't read/receive those).

The latest update for the app restricts it to android 9 and up. My phone is on 8 with no update available. Pity.

So time to order for MIL in Retirement Home. Need to update Sixty60. No, will not work on your device. So over to PnP. Need to register. Bad Gateway!

So much for Online Shopping. It was more efficient 50 years ago when my Mother just gave the grocery order to the Milkman for delivery next day.

Yeah, and the milkman delivered three bunches of celery, a packet of potato crisps and a kettle. Don't be that guy.

You can’t complain about efficiency if you didn’t actually use the service.

So if I don't get electricity I can't complain about the service from ESCOM? My complaint with Sixty60 is that I used to be able to use the service, and now I can't because they have "Updated" it. My complaint about PnP is that it will not allow me to register.

In my book both of those complaints are service related.

Not to mention home delivery of, newspapers and magazines, bread, butchery, two postal deliveries per day.
You must be living in soweto back then. I heard service delivery was top notch those days. From my friends in soweto.

As we developers say, there’s some users where the lights are on but nobody is home.

LOL.

There is some issue with PnP app/site - I also experienced it. I once tried to register, it says email already exists or something. like that so I must have forgotten password. Then, I click forgot password, it says email doesn't exist.  Didn't complain with PnP as Sixty60 works lekker.

Haven’t used the PnP app since hearing about @cavedog experience, I know I was migrated though as a early user of the Bottles app.

What’s the catch with this Xtra Savings program? Seems like a lot of effort to physically get a card which is a requirement.
