sixty60 - checkers app

None that I can see. They just get data on what you buy which I assume they can use to sell more or buy less etc.
Yeah…but why the physical requirement, instead of ticking a box in the app and done.

There must be some reason they have this inane process.

No idea, you can just give them the number, no need for the actual card. It is just easier to swipe the card when in-store than trying to read out the number from your phone.

They refunded me when i submitted the issue for the incorrect products sent to me.

If you haven't selected an alternative, really makes more sense for them to rather omit the product then just randomly give you something. They need to fix their business rules around this,
Same problem. I choose alternatives where I can but for some things there is no alternative I would want, so I choose nothing. But then the shopper takes it upon himself to choose an alternative for me. If I happen to see the live shopping happening on the app I can decline the chosen alternative, (you must be fast as you only have a few split seconds in which to decline) but usually I am too busy to sit and watch the shopping happening so I end up with stuff I really did not want. Not all shoppers do that though, some will just leave out the product. What annoys me most is that products are shown to be in stock on the app but then they are actually out of stock and very often I get only 10 of the 30 items I ordered. 60Sixty has been like a Lucky Packet...just don't depend on it if you are preparing for an important dinner.

Eish, 10 out of 30 products, thats poor hit rate. Most time all my orders are filled 100%. Every now and then things are out of stock, but maybe 1 or 2 items on a trolley of 30.

I’ve had a go at them for this too. They also refunded me, so clearly they know it’s a flimsy leg they are standing on here.

It used to be that the standard was items out of stock were omitted. They appear to have changed how they operate. If you do not select an alternative or do not explicitly state you don’t want an alternative the shopper will select one for you. The effect is that you must now, for every item, review your selection and perform an extra step or you will be removed from the decision-making process of spending your own money. I’ve told them this is crazy - maybe more of us need to voice this opinion.
It really should be that if you have not taken any action to select an alternative that the default should be it’s omitted.

Never had that issue, if I don't select an alternative it gets removed and the final amount taken off is changed

Had only one issue with Checkers substituting something we didn't want. But, we don't order much - probably 10+ orders this year.

So even they are not applying it consistently.
From their help desk:
“In future we would request that you select an alternative should one be available for your selected item/s should an item be out of stock you still get a product of your choice. If no replacement is wanted please select " I do not want a replacement" to avoid the picker from selecting a replacement on your behalf.”

There was an update to the app just recently, they've reduced the minimum android version required from I believe 9.0 to 8.0 so my phone just just supports sixty60 again. Nice!

Got some Cross & Blackwell product extra - seems to be a gift as it is marked with a sticker unlike others.

Just used this app for the first time this morning.

My phone's small and my fingers are broad so I had some issues with ordering at first - but that's entirely my problem.
I gave alternatives for all 10 products but I received the original request in all cases.
The driver got to us in 30 minutes.
Pretty happy with this experience - but my local Checkers is a new store and quite a joy to deal with most of the time anyway.

Any win with asking for a refund on a product?

I selected a product and an alternative, but then they automagically gave me a 3rd option that I do not want.

How I ended up putting a power bank in my order

5 days and no response to my ticket.

If there are any checkers employees, this needs to be optional. 3mins and no response = Yes?

Go **** yourself.
