Skyrim

Buy a house (5000 gold) (to store everything without it getting stolen)

Every 'point' in stamina increases Carrying Capacity by 5

Theres a perk in Pickpocket IIRC that gives +100 space
Is there a max stamina? 100? That would give you 5x100=500 carry capacity?
I know about storing things but its extremely inconvenient having to run up and down to store/sell things.

I was wondering...any advantages to actually buying a house? I'm currently 'living' in some tower where I killed a dragon and it seems perfectly fine, I fast travel there, store my stuff, sleep etc etc. What more can this house for 5k do?

If you don't own a house, everything you store in containers may disappear after 72 hours.

My stamina is on 200 at the moment and my carry limit is 375 (enchanted a couple items with Fortify Carry Weight)

Without those Dragon Bones/scales dragging me down it really makes a difference

You can also use the Steed Guardian stone. It's NW of Solitude. With it you get an extra 100 to carrying capacity and armor no longer affects speed.

Thats a great stone!

At least until (or if) you get these;

Unhindered perk Light Armor weighs nothing and doesn't slow you down when worn
Conditioning perk Heavy Armor weighs nothing and doesn't slow you down when worn

Extra pockets perk Carrying capacity is increased by 100

Ok, so I'm level 24 now, spent some time last night working on Archery (50/55 now) and Pickpocketing (70/75 now) :)

Had a lovely surprise when I slept at the inn and walked out the door the next morning, courier came up and gave me 2 letters and just after he had finished a group of Hire Thugs tried to mob me. I shat myself when this happened, died quickly and reloaded the autosave, took out the fekkers before they could get to me again. I love how the people fly back when my arrows hit them

Finally headed out of that rivertown this morning and did the Golden Claw quest. Frost trolls are a bitch. Doing the quest and clearing the dungeon was fun though, one of the chests loved me and gave me an Ebony bow and I managed to get that special thing you get right at the end of dungeon.

Plan for tonight is to go to that other tower near the rivertown and clear it of bandits before continuing with the main quest.

Oh and as for my build, I'm going:

Sneaking (100)
Pickpocketing (70/75)
Archery (50/55)
Light Armor
One Handed
Alchemy

Everything else is just flavour at this stage.

You'll be surprised who ordered the hit on you :p

i hope you take mafiascum with you when you go out adventuring. the kid needs to learn the ways of the wild...killed my frist giant last night. heres an easy tip. if they attack(with their mammoth mates) just pause, switch difficulty to easy, kill, switch back

was it a stupid move of me going for a Nord and then developing destr magic and using a 1 handed mace? feels like magic is getting strong and I shoulda gone with a race better at magic :/

Mafiascum either sits on my lap when I play or sleeps next to me, she seems to love the game as well :p I don't kill anything when she is watching though.

this is my problem as well. when you complete all the winterhold college missions you get some nice things to assist you.

I did minor conjuration, bought flame atronach and conjure sword. I just found it a bit pointless and VERY makica consuming so i ditched it. My Flame atronach cast every time (wearing novice hood, novice robe, iron gauntlets + feet), make sure you pointing to an open spot on the ground - when the xhair is not red :)

I'm Going destruction + Restoration now --- Power damage and Power keeping alive power haha.

I find it really annoying that in order to conjure a sword or atronach you have to hold in the trigger until the magic is drained and then let go to cast it

Why couldn't they just make it so you just tap the trigger and it casts

Heavy Armor Skill tree and Pickpocket skill tree respectively
Thanks, only played about 30minutes so far, havent opened the skill tree :P
Also only found out today, on another forum, that running crossfire actually is giving worse frame rates than single gpu at the moment :/

To 'charge up' the spell to full power before you release it

I'm dead by that time :(

I think maybe I should start over with a mage character and put most of the points in the mage class instead of spreading everything thinly over all the classes.

What are your comments on conjuration vs destruction, will I be better off dumping points into conjuration or destruction?
