Picked up the game today. Wasn't too excited initally about this game but after reading reviews and all the stuff you guys are speaking about it makes me EXTREMELY lus to jol this weeeeee, battlefield 3 can take the backseat for a bit.

i had a lot of trouble with sabre tigers and frost trolls...i am currently lvl 12 and dual casting shock or fire, with a trusty companion with a nice big melee weapon. that should do it. have you been ambushed by 2 sabre tigers? 2 hits and goodbye

You know you're a dragonborn because when they hit you, you can actually go flying

And yeah those frost trolls also get me with like 2 - 3 hits.

arrrrrr!!! I just killed myself 2 giants!!!

when I was lvl 4 I went out the town in the dark and ran into one and he put me down with one shot!

Ran into two near some water hole but this time I was ready!!! That ice spike spell hits them off balance and packs a punch!! Im lvl 12 now

Got a bunch of gold from them, and the nearby chest which I bought goodies with!!

This game is insane... SHould be sleeping and up at 5am

Dragons are so easy compared to those undead mage mini-bosses. I've fought Krosis and Vokun so far, on average it took me about 6 load/saves to kill each.

Edit: Apparently they are called Dragon Priests.

I concentrated on being a lightning wielding Breton o' death. Then Mzuleft happened. I think I broke the quest, since I can't warp the crystal now

Yea, I also just read about those in your spoiler. Funny thing is I killed 2 without even knowing what they are ;P Now that I know, I'm very excited to continue that journey...you know what I mean

Basically xD. Except I just used a pillar to line of sight him the whole time, stepping out to do some damage and running back to the pillar like a girl.

Yea...I really didn't feel proud after that :/

Well it is a fantastic game. Just killed the 1st dragon, quite easy tbh

I'm going up conjuration and destruction. Gonna have my minions while blasting stuff away ahah.
Now to get busy with Whiterun quests

befriend Fanalaer* by doing his quest where you have to take the letter to camilla.
Now he is your companion, train up as much archery as you want, ask to trade with him and take your money back. Rinse and repeat

So, spent some more time last night and this morning enjoying this wonderful game.

Level 18 now, purely because I went all out and got sneaking to 100, will do Archery and possibly pickpocketing tonight as well. Still haven't left the first you get to after leaving the tunnels and only cleared the first mine you come accross.

Must say I am loving the game so far, can't wait for the developer kit to be released though and see what the community comes up with. PC version definately needs a different ui

How? Mines on 66 after using Sneak primarily to get through dungeons

like even if you facing the guy and you "sneak" he wont see you if its dim lit and you got max skill

right?

Has anyone completed The Companions quest? If you finish it you can choose to be a werewolf at the end.

Spoiler (highlight if you really want to know):

I attacked the guy leading me out of the keep when the game started by mistake at that point where you have to choose to go past or kill the bear. I got a sneak attack and gained 1 point in sneaking. So I just went with it kept doing that for a while and let him regen health every now and again.

I assume you can do this with any companion.
