Hi.
I have been on this and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who does not need to lose weight for a genuine medical issue and has tried everything else with no avail. These are my reasons:
1. It is a starvation programme. You eat very less and only certain items that don't really have any taste.
2. It takes away ones social life completely. You cannot go out and have a cup of coffee or a decent meal with your friends or family.
3. You have to inject yourself every day with a diabetes type injection. I think the same syringe and needle are used.
4. It led me to depression due to starvation. I was only thinking about good tasting food.
5. It is expensive. The people promoting this are the people making money from it like doctors and health clubs. They make money on the products and consultation.
6. This is a lifelong programme. You cannot stop it or you will put the weight back on. WTF.
Don't waste your money. I cut down drastically on sugar and starch and joined the gym and lost 6 kg in two months. I eat all the meat and fat I want. I only have starch and sugar at a minimum for breakfast. I still have a social life. I can have a braai right now and not put on weight. You cannot even eat from a braai with the slender wonder programme. It is absolute crap. I can't stress this more. Don't waste your money.
What I was saying is it is at best a "poor replacement" - in other words, it is not as good as real food, you know nothing artificial. I can gaurantee you get the same amount of carbs / fat / protein / etc from real food - you will see greater benefits.
