Slow Afrihost connection (capped)

I am on the 15gb capped option with Afrihost on a 10mb line. since yesterday browsing and downloading has been SLOW! there is nothing on the Afrihost website.
is it just me or is anyone else experiencing the same problems??
 
Yup, me too. Local is lekker, but the rest of the world seems to have been sucked into a black hole.
 
Looney786 Agreed, and thats today, you asked about yesterday. IMHO the dreaded 7% kicked in. my 4meg uncapped account NEVER goes above 200 and a lot less during office hours.

If permanent connectivity is what you need, try OpenWeb Gold -they guarantee that you will ALWAYS be online, regardless of what goes down. (Been with them almost a year now...never been offline once.)
 
Mweb has leased capacity on sat-3, so no more down time. Although torrents are gonna suck when seacom goes down.
