Hey again, Problem still not fixed. Telkom driving me crazy they clear the faults without doing anything. Can some1 tell me if the stats on my router page are correct. It's quite weird to see all these errors.. especially on the upstream.

Downstream Upstrean
Line Attenuation 28.4 16.5 dB
Errored Seconds 4 215
Loss of Signal 1 1
Loss of Frame 0 0
CRC Errors 0 154

Im using a planet ade 4100 router. Can anybody tell me if these errored seconds and crc errors are normal, and if not what they exactly mean?

thankyou

same prob here PB, ever since my router syncs at 384/128 and not 512/256 the max cl_cmdrate i can use in CS is 60 before i start lagging where usually i could set my cmdrate to 101 without any lag, its also now impossible for 2 ppl to play CS at the same time on my line

yup br34k thats the exact problem I have been having and causing me all these hassles. Didn't realise that my upstream was so much less. Looks like telkom decided to rob us once again, guess i'm forced to upgrade to 512 :/

Had this type of problem for about a year

although Iv had this for ages, my ping is higher 60+, speed test is fine. I get lag spikes as well. when I place a complaint, I get a simple "there is nothing wrong with your line"
So Iv given up and hoping that SNO can give better dsl then telkom :(
