Slow Cookers

Ever since I've bought our pressure cooker, we find ourselves using that much more often than the slow cooker.

We used to moer the stuff in at night just before we go to bed then leaving it on "warm" to keep the food warm until we get back from work. I guess the thing that bugged me the most is the smell of food cooking at 02:00 in the morning. I'm an incredibly light sleeper and the aromas constantly woke me :D

I borrowed my mum's slow cooker to try some pulled beef chuck yesterday.

It was good, but I think this is more for people who want a hands-off cooking experience. I prefer being more active in the process. I would mind an actual decent curry recipe though, haven't really seen any.

Want to get this thing working for Solar use during the day and save battery power on the Induction stove in the evenings.
