Slowest speed on Cell C

I've had Cell C for about 4 months now and generally its pretty awesome - with 3mbps down and 2mbps up.

The past week something has been wrong and I was wondering what the slowest speed you've got on Cell C - assuming you can get it?

The test took about 5 minutes ... But got a ping of 3951 local and download of 0.07 and download 0.02

Also started experiencing slow speeds from yesterday, at one stage couldn't even get speedtest to load, but when it did run my ping's were only in the 100's although probably had similar downs and ups.

I was amazed I never actually timed out ... I mean a 4 second local ping?!

Cell C are trying to help me though

My mom also had problems since the weekend. I had her ping earlier, and it was working, but with lots of lost packets. I wonder what is going on with their network....

During the day it drops even lower sometimes dropping connection or even dropping to edge. My PC has not moved since December so its telling me we might be getting to many Cell C users in my area.

The slowest speed I ever got with the speedstick was 0KBps when it disconnected, Luckily it doesn't happen that often

I've had 0bps when it's connected... it's easy, just try and using CellC on the last day of the month around 8pm...

Tried using stick now to download something. Connected fine...worked for about 3 minutes at then just stopped working. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting....does not help. Tried unplugging stick and plugging in again and connecting...still no data coming through. This happens so freakking often it is really not funny.

It's been like this for close on a week ... 100kbps max and mainly unusable :/ I gave the tower ID to one of your engineers in PVT and I think he's also trying to assist :/

CellC is going be upgrading to 40+ mbps network right? This "slow down" maybe caused by testing?

Haven't posted on this forum in years, but been reading for ages.

I've had the exact same problems with my Cell C (black) speedstick in Cape Town. Ever since Saturday it's been very slow, spending most of it's time struggling away on an EDGE connection. I'm used to getting ~4Mbps on HSPA+ pretty consistently.

As I type this it's trying to grab a 3G connection but it keeps either disconnecting completely or dropping to EDGE.

I'm not sure what's going on but something definitely changed on either Friday or Saturday and my connection's been terrible since then.

Same problem on my side now since Tuesday 12 April, when I first noticed it. First Vodacom goes pear shaped, and now Cell C's not working. At the moment I can't connect to any internet at home. Very not good! I'm in the Strand area in Western Cape.

Bought the black stick for my GF to use at her flat in Newlands and it was great. Im here at the moment trying to sort it out as she said things were a little slow.
3000MS Pings, time outs, packet loss...

Really REALLLY slow...

What can we do

Just reset it all and this is what I got.
