Yip, of course they're at it again. It's the same scenario as the driver's licences. It was all done for no reason other than to extort millions out of the populace. It's just income tax increases in another guise. And back in 1998 when they tried to make me convert my licence I showed them a big fat STFU until 2002 when I was told they're gonna cancel my driver's license.

Except the smart-card thing is now for the ANC to keep tabs on it's populace, specifically the tax-paying minority.
 
I see you said vehicle license, for some reason I thought drivers license. But regardless it seems that the wheel keeps on turning even though it is rolling over its own citizens while the drivers laugh hysterically all the way to the bank. 3rd world dump here we come!
 
driver's license as in the credit-card driver's license you have to renew every 5 years.

It is soooo blatantly obvious they only thought about the money, because it is so hard to renew your drivers license, it entails time off work and running up your phone bill just trying to get an appointment 6 months down the line.

Sorry to disappoint you, but if you have ever been in America or Europe you will realize that we are already a 3rd world dump. ;)
 
We've been a 3rd world dump for some time. Look at how the Chinese are selling their **** here, crap that you'll find nowhere else, certainly not in any 1st world country.
