Anyone here using Linux and a smartphone, needing to sync contacts, etc.? Anyone here using this?

If this really is working, I must have stumbled across the much-needed smartphone sync app for Linux, so I am sharing this here with the hope that it may bring relief to Linux users.
I am using an E63 on Ubuntu 11.04 which I sync via Google. It is a dual-boot with XP SP3 and PC Suite on the Windows side of things.
I do not have an Android phone so I cannot install and test this software.
I also use Google sync which works rather well when linked to my Evolution PIM in Ubuntu. However, this works best when you have good mobile reception or broadband. In remote areas, one may be limited to sms only on cellular networks, if any even exists. Many Karoo - Northern Cape farmers, for instance, have little or no telephone service but still want to keep data in sync between devices. Also, folks involved in construction, mining, etc., and working in such areas, sometimes wish to keep data synced and then this is perhaps an option. Some also have security issues and, as we have seen in the past, Apple, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc., have fallen prey to hackers and members' data was compromised.
