S.A Community is rising!!! Join in!!! This is GREAT FUN!!!!

Those interested also to get part of our little (and growing) community visit and like us on Facebook - Smite South Africa. We play together as a community and we are also part of the Blood Seeker Gaming clan which already specializes in Dota2. When in-game just send a shout-out to Anamech or myself, OuBoet and we will add you to our growing list of friends that play. At this stage we are 19 players of which about 9 players daily of which 12 of us are already on level 30.

We are in the process of helping everybody to get to level 30 so that we can start playing in the league. Our playerbase is quite varied and we have a few guys that are very knowledgeable in the items and how they react with the gods' passives and so forth. Any help you would like you can just ask and we will assist with any in-game builds.

Would love to see you guys in-game!! So feel free to click on the link below (my referral link) to download the client and lets get the gods rocking!

Join me in SMITE by signing up now! My player name is OuBoet". Click here to get started for FREE:

Cool, Dude!!

Send me the names in game so I can add them all to my friends list! Also feel free to ask if you guys need help!

I still find myself popping in to Smite to have a game or 2 every now and then. A truly unique MOBA experience and quite fun.

I'm truly awful at the game, but that doesn't stop me trying :p

Also I find the item system to be far simpler than Dota 2. There are far fewer crucial active items for example with most items providing passive bonuses for the gods. IMO the learning curve is far gentler making for a more casual pick-up-and-play kind of game than the professional "pick the right hero or you're mince meat" experience of Dota 2. The game organising all the items into defensive, offsensive, magical etc. also really helped me when I first started.

I have also found the community to be far quieter in general with communication happening mostly with minimap pings and those prepregammed responses like "missing left lane". Nobody flames, we just have fun. The concede function is nice too as it means unlike in Dota 2 we don't have to wait when we know the game is absolutely over.

Game is easy up to 15, then you get hit with level 30's. Supposedly they changed it so that it is more balanced, but I am at 27 now, so can't test it.

They are still tinkering with the Matchmaking system, I have found that some games are a complete rollover where some of them are excruciatingly hard up until the last second and then others you just CAN'T seem to win! :)

I find I'm playing more and more of this game lately. The only drawback is I get teamed with people that ruin the game for all (foul language, complaining and blaming everyone else then afking or intentionally feeding until we agree to surrender). If possible could some of you guys keen on playing together every now and then send me names or get me to send you mine so we can party up? I already have Anamech added but we never seem to be on at the same time so haven't been able to have a game with him yet.

Looking forward to playing with you guys at some point.
