So who's using SmokePing to keep track of uptime and QoS?

I've been playing around with it only recently, want to see what QoS over 3G/iBurst/ADSL is like - kind of a comparison between these three.

WHo else of you is using this tool, and what have you done so far with it?

Using it at an ISP for playing around, its very informative. But once you need to monitor a lot of stuff, its almost easier to use strafeping in opennms.

SmokePing is really good for monitoring the health of a network over a long period of time. Gives me much more info than the up/down status on the rest of my monitoring platform.

Its interesting to watch the performance of the various ISPs in ZA when you hit them with a bit of Smokeping. Some of the bigger providers are really congesting their networks.
