SNMPD on debian

I have a few boxes where SNMPD stop working after a few days until I restart it. Any ideas?

If "snmpd" is too busy to finish for "restart" within 2 seconds defined
in "/etc/init.d/snmpd", it is accidentally left not running after
"logrotate". My solution was to check whether it has finished and add
conditional delay.

I finally figured what was the issue. It was log rotation!

Yes
You would think they would have fixed it by now.

It looks like the bug was marked pending, but then later that maintainer stopped working on snmpd.

I suggest replying to the bug and saying that it still occurs.
