Snow Leopard out soon?

R100 and R300, crikey why don't they make an official PC version. Hackintosh don't count. BTW why do they even compare release dates with 7, it's not like they compete on the same platform? :erm:
 
If they make it an official pc version then sales of mac will decline sharply as pc's are far cheaper and basically mac charges you a premium for using intel now, should you be able to run osx easily on any system i suspect they will see a major loss in profit.

Correct. However a Mac does not cost an arm and a leg. A serious user who makes money from a computer will benefit from the saved time and improved productivity and the little premium Apple charges will be repaid very quickly, what follows is all profit. People need to understand that.

MEANWHILE, Steve Ballmer of Micro$oft said they will make Windows 7 more expensive because cheap no longer cuts it.
