Well that I'll take my hat off to, really!

I own two legal copies of XP but the WGA, DRM and whatever else hoops I have to jump through annoys the crap outta me so much that I basically switched to linux years ago.
 
I don't completely believe it. I expect that there may be a misunderstanding somewhere...
 
Just called the iStore in Sandton - the launch is tomorrow evening at 6pm. Looks like they will have stock too :D
 
I'll wait a bit because I depend on NTFS 3G, I need to be sure this works 100% with SL before I switch.
 
I went for launch of Leopard and it coincided with the official launch. It was available for purchase as well. Remember that day clearly. Leopard has been brilliant. Bring on the Snow Leopard.

Just spoke to the guys in Sandton again. They got their stock in last night (only 100 copies). Started selling this morning. If I'm not mistaken - they only have the retail one in (for R329). No family packs or box sets yet.

Sorry, don't know what time they're gonna be closing. I'm rushing there after work :D

All stores have copies. Picked up my copy from Digicape at the Wedge in Sandton today at about 1pm for R329. A friend of mine in durban picked his up this morning from the iStore in Gateway. Stores may not have them on display - ask them to get it from the store room - they do have it. digicape in sandton had lots of copies so go grab yours!

Please could somebody tell me exactly where the Sandton iStore is??! I've never been there before, and can't seem to find directions anywhere...
 
I also couldnt find it - its supposed to be on 1 Sandton Drive but I couldnt see it. Drive down Rivonia toward Sunninghill and go to the Wedge Shopping Centre (just before Kelvin turn off) - there is a Digicape store in there. They have copies of snow leopard.
 
Is digicape a decent online store? I want to order snow from them but not sure if the online store is good or if they handle EFT payments well.
