i remember not too long ago when people complained about apple prices, core specifically stated that we cannot compare the prices to the US store because they get their stock from europe and uk region...
so because i work with 2 bloomberg screens and the bloomberg channel al day, iv seen the euro go from about just under 11Rand to about a EURZAR rate of 9.3-9.4 in the past month or so... the pound having a similar depreciating trend vs the Rand...
so my question is with the 10-15% appreciation of the Rand against the currencies Core imports from, surely we expect local pricing to come down by about 10% or more?
sadly i dont think core will ever do that
anyone else with any comments?
