I hope its not on 18" Awwdy A8 rims or Awwwdy RS4 wheels pls don't tell me that!

OP, If you not worried about re-sale go for the Alfa - something very different and looks quite good IMO. Also, Alfa was notorious for breaking down previously but with the newer models they are much better (Does the Mito come with maintenance plan?)

OT: are you the same AdamR on M3Post?

LMAO...eish guys I'm now fedup with POLOW bashing...I'm sure they get the word that they drive boring cars, and the comeback of Alfa's break is so cliched, that Alfa's don't even break anymore, VW's do LOL - tide is turning!

Anyway...Alfa FTW...dude, go buy the Alfa MiTo with your heart and be proud!

Yeah VW is much better NOT. At least when I take my Alfa in for a service I get a treated like a person and not a number and it doesnt take 3 weeks to get a booking and 3 days to get my car serviced.

Completely different. the power delivery, the drive - u cant compare.

The GTI DSG I rate as the best car I have ever had for all round purpose, it was quick, nimble and loads of fun to drive. Keeps you young!

The Alfa has balls! loads of torque, but its more of a cruiser and it cruises very well. i drive alot on the highway to distant places (400km +) and that where it shines over the GTI, Much more comfortable. Its also very unique, I still have not seen one like mine on the road, where the GTI I pulled up at a robot and there were 4 of us! Lastly, but most importantly, the looks IT gets... I love both cars, but for now I chose the Alfa, but my next car may just be the G6GTIDSG

... geez this thread got converted into a battle of marques ...

I do know the depreciation of the Alfas ... hell the M3 i had if i kept it would have lost R100k in less than a year ... so these days all cars depreciate, i will try and get a good discount on the car ...

and yes the same adamr on m3post ... not been there in a bit, now on rennlist
