Well Adam...I know that I wouldn't even be thinking Mito now... AND Anybody who says that this is just a facelift is smoking their socks!
mmm that is a good looking polo ... when does that come out ... i need to buy a car in the next week or two
...I just need to drive that Mito again, maybe i am being harsh on it ...

Whatever is irritating you in a test drive now is going to be magnified 10 000 times when you buy the car.......The new polo is due any time as far as I know..definitely worth wating for, in my opinion..

+10000, you absolutely right ... it will get worse with more months of owning the car ... and this particualr one i will be financing, so i wont be able to just change it in a hurry...

All the more reason to wait and at least check out the Polo first...60 months is a long time to be irritated by your car!!
LOL Fazda has managed to convince you to go for a facelift...let's face it guys...ITS A FACELIFT, SAME AS THE NEW G6!!!!...shame, a damn shame.
I test drove the MiTo twice, its not the gear changes that are spongy, lol, its the clutch, are you SURE you were not in Dynamic mode when you had the BUMPY ride, coz the susp firms up and the steering firms up and the boost goes up when in Dynamic mode..lol leave the horse play POLO and come over to the dark side, you know you want to, plus the POLO just looks crap!

i saw the 500 and really like the styling and look ... So def considering. Actually was more into the 500 when i saw it arnold chatz ... Its such a cute little car
I drove the alfa in both dynamic and normal. It felt just as bumpy in normal. Like bmws m3 with mdynamic i felt very little difference between the settings. The porsche on the other hand is instantly noticeable with its pasm settings. I think you right about it not being the gear change but clutch being really soft. But this car does beg me to give it another test drive which i will and at the same time will drive the 500
EDIT: gear change was not assuring, i like a car when you change gears it must sort of "click" into place ... but let me drive it again ... im sold on its looks (at the moment its like a pretty girl but the sex aint good)

Adam, please don't let Alfaholic sway you...he is desperately trying to defend a car that has to be switched through several different settings before you can find one that suits you...for heaven's sake!!
Any car that isn't built right the first time out isn't worth looking at...........
Somewhere...miles back, you will find my list of 66 cars...amongst them you will also see that I also owned Alfas once...nice cars? yes...are they cars I would ever own again?... NO...I have even rasllied the poor things in an attempt to finally like them, but the bottom line is that you will always have problems and they will never be right...my first Sud even caught fire on the day that I bought it...200 metres from Arnold Chatz...I tried another 5 after that and I had hassles with each one.........all that I can admit to, is being bloody stupid and desperate to prove that Alfas were great at the time...
Trust me, if you don't like the clutch or the gearchange now, it is going to only get worse.....whatever Alfaholic says, the new Polo is NOT a facelift...only an improvementt on a beautiful car...

Talk about funny...yesterday a guy who works with me (don't know how to spell colleague) had his brother in law come visit him...he called me but I was busy, I asked him this morning why he called me..."My brother was here with that new little Alfa..the Mia...orr" MiTo...aparently his brother cannot stop smiling...but one thing he mentioned and I failed to mention - the rear seat space is NON-existant mate!!!
