You're WRONG. ALFAHOLIC is RIGHT. It IS a facelift. Just like the MiTo is a facelift of the 147. I mean, it's soooooo obvious - it still has 4 wheels, VW logos, an engine... it's even still FWD! It's crying facelift. :rolleyes: :D

Oh, and adamr - what's your currency (money obviously means nothing ;))? I need a spin in teh GT3 at some point. :p
 
So i would like to help out any new readers of this thread and sum up the discussion so far.

The consensus is, buy a new polo. The mito isn't a wise choice.
 
LOL - just to add to the lunacy of considering a facelift - buy the MiTo with your heart...
 
yeah lets see ... this week the polo is gone, so i need to get a car jsut before the polo goes, i really dont want to be driving a track car everyday in traffic :( ... so i better need to make a choice real soon
 
I like the look of the Clio 3 RS, not sure about the drive and its about R240k...
Worth a look into...

Not alot of good cars available in this segment these days. Actually theres nothing good under 300k:confused:

Lol ... Will see tomorrow because the sale on the polo aint going forward it seems. Buyers finance approved. Gave all the proof of payment docs to std bank and still they not sure if they want to do the deal because i bought the car from a private guy and not a dealer. ... Wesbank would never give such hassles.

Maybe it's Divine Intervention stopping you from making a HUGE mistake and buying a Mito before looking at the new Polo :D
 
its such a crock that people assume 'who buys cars cash these days' ... They quickly assume fraud ... Lol. Then i need to basically strip naked to prove everything is legitimate. Always go through this :(

The coupe on the left looks rather nice.

Don't know anything about the cars in general, but never liked the looks of Alfa's in general...
