You're WRONG. ALFAHOLIC is RIGHT. It IS a facelift. Just like the MiTo is a facelift of the 147. I mean, it's soooooo obvious - it still has 4 wheels, VW logos, an engine... it's even still FWD! It's crying facelift.

Oh, and adamr - what's your currency (money obviously means nothing )? I need a spin in teh GT3 at some point.

So i would like to help out any new readers of this thread and sum up the discussion so far.

The consensus is, buy a new polo. The mito isn't a wise choice.

the track car i was referring to was the Porsche ... when the polo is sold that will be the only car i have and cant afford to be driving that in traffic ...

Lol ... Will see tomorrow because the sale on the polo aint going forward it seems. Buyers finance approved. Gave all the proof of payment docs to std bank and still they not sure if they want to do the deal because i bought the car from a private guy and not a dealer. ... Wesbank would never give such hassles.

Maybe it's Divine Intervention stopping you from making a HUGE mistake and buying a Mito before looking at the new Polo

The coupe on the left looks rather nice.

Don't know anything about the cars in general, but never liked the looks of Alfa's in general...
