I also dont think they look THAT good...

Top Gear is scripted, they have a slogan for every car out there, the GTR will also be a Datsun on TG, Every Porsche is a VW Beetle. They didnt have anything to say about Alfas apart from its a true petrol heads car, clutching at straws poor Alfa... TG Gospel yawn.

anyway...TG is not law, omg - I've neveer watched ONE episode where they say anything good about any car, there's always one thing wrong...oooh, both Jeremy and James owns Alfas...I think since you live by their law...you need yourself an Alfa mate...vang tips!:rolleyes:

The seem to like Lambos, Buggattis, GTis and Bentleys!

I think one day when you find that contentment and love for a car youll see a need not to boast about it or walk around showing of your car keys. Or the fact that you know where your fanbelt, distributor cap or oil stick is because you constantly stopping on the side of the road to check it!:D

Of course I drive a VW!:)

as to your comment, even if the audi was slower than the BMW, more expensive and not as fancy - jeremy might even say the audi is a better car because of reason X, Y and Z....

You will not be sorry if you go the MiTo route. It's a head turner.
I'm on my 4th Alfa, it's the only car I've ever driving, and WILL be the only marque I ever drive. But be careful, it gets in your blood, and you won't be able to go back to boring again.
I would suggest going for any color than red (the rear light cluster loses its impact on a red body). The white looks stunning.
The myth that all Alfa's are bad lost all credibility when the new generation returned to SA in the late 90's. I agree you have to choose your service center carfully, but i have had nothing but joy from the guys at FIAT Germiston.
And with the full service plan and 25 000km service intervals you will be quite save.

So yes....go for it....
 
LOL PAPAJA...I'm a self confessed TG whore...Jeremy them will NEVA say 100% good about a car...once was interviewed on Autoblogdaily and he said he does it for th ratings etc...but this is not about Jeremy, only duufus people quote Jeremy to make an automotive statement, me included.

I say JK8 has a POLOW...stupidestestest car ever! Aneamic!
