major thread revival

I still love chicken licken and KFC. with lockdown one needs diversity irrespective of the price difference. i have found Popeyes Sandton to be a good alternative too. otherwise, just get aminas tandoori marinade, wings and an air fryer for even more diversity.

Popeyes is great, the one next to Chicken Licken in Menlyn didn't survive the covid :(, so now I'm back to Chicken Licken only there.

the popeyes in eastgate didnt survive covid either, so sad.

Never had Popeyes, but it’s definitely up my alley. Unfortunately I hate malls and have never seen a Popeyes.

I have never had chicken licken on my life. Is it nice? Can you guys recommend I go out and be blown away? Or best not to ruin what could have been but never was.

How does this even happen? Please go out and get some hot wings / soul fire chicken and rain soul fire sauce all over it then report back to us. Do it now. Life is short.

The branch makes a difference, some have soul others dont, not sure where to get in CT, other than that nasty looking one in Adderly.

Junk Food - First time in 4 months

Had a long day at work. Forgot to take chicken out of the freezer. Wife is tired and sick. I have to start job 2 in a couple of hours. Why not get some KFC? The chicken was soaked in oil. Tastes nothing like chicken. Sloshy oil with a batter of sorts around it. The chips tasted like bread...

Theres one in wynberg main road which doesnt have the nasty elements like adderley... or rather not as nasty
