So I had some Chicken Licken

had it last nite also. luv it. only a few of them make it right though. a few years ago we used to get the taxi 2. they still have a similar combo. 2 pieces chicken, chips, coleslaw, toast. Mmmmmm, just add the soul fire sauce. note that they have 2 options, regular or soul fire chicken. i prefer the regular and then add the sauce, which is actually like vinegar and a chillipowder mix.

No it is about a 1/6 of a loaf of bread cut open like a bunny chow a piece of chiken was inside with a spicey sauce and mayo then the lid (piece of bread) was put back on and toasted in a flat toaster.

I was the only student i knew that was a regular at chiken licken.:D

The chicken coating is better then KFC's in my opinion :)
 
chicken licken is da bomb ! i used to love it and their prices were extremely reasonable but for a good experience it really does depend on which branch you go to. the one at cresta is k@k but the one in fordsburg is awesome. my fav is their wrap and hot wings but the sliders are also awesome !
 
I also think that it's better than the greasy ,oily ,fatty KFC.
Can't believe you've only tried it now.
And yes, it is somewhere between KFC and Nando's, taste- and price -wise.
 
no fair!! you guys still have a fontana's, the only one in Durban closed down about 3 years ago :( that stuff was awesome and the whole 24 hours things was amazing, i had a number of drunk nights that ended up with trips to Fontana's :D
