So, I started therapy today...

Ahh, you see, it's nice to share. Now lets get together for a virtual group hug? :D

U see???
And I do so much for him.
And get treated like a doormat.

He needs therapy.

Without getting in to too many details, it was nothing that I couldnt have done for myself thanks! :D

And I would never treat my doormat that badly BTW!

Perhaps a group therapy session?

I have one once a day. Myself and the other voices all get together and discuss critical matters ranging from personal issues to world politics. Ha, you should hear what voice no.3 has to say about Alf101. Would it be wrong if I posted that voice no.3 thinks Alf101's real name is William?

Dammit, you're not allowed to post pm's.

You guys are being so mean... Sox63 started therapy today, and needs some support for seeking help for whatever is bothering him. You are making fun of the process which just may help him solve his dilemma. A very "macho" response but not helpful if he is really looking for support?

If you have constant flu or sinus issues - you go to the doctor to get antibiotics, don't you? There is not any difference going into therapy when you feel you need answers to questions that you cannot find alone.

Not everyone in therapy is a nutcase you know, in fact, any decent clinical psychologist is in therapy sessions themselves, in order to deal with what they face every day, not always because they have huge issues in their lives.

In my experience, Sox, it works for some people, who are really open to the process, and others manage to solve things by themselves. But don't let anyone put you off if you are one of those open to it... it can help alot with the right therapist. You will know within 2-3 sessions if they are the right one's. If not, try again and if after 3 different highly recommended practitioners, you still aren't comfortable, get onto the internet and buy some books. Because then you are one of those who needs to resolve things on their own. Nothing wrong with that if you can manage it, but nothing wrong with getting help when you can't...

Laughter is the best medicine ;)

I hope he got a few kicks from this and it made him smile from ear to ear! Supportive enough for you?

Ag man the guys here are a light hearted bunch, well, most of them. I knew they would have a field day with the thread when I posted it.

And sox knows he's not the only one here with issues.:)

He's already doing the right thing, and doesn't need help here.
