I'm currently in the process of downloading the full client at home.

1 of the main reasons I avoided this game (note how I say "1" of the reasons) was the massive updates and hog of BW it is - but since I'm on uncapped... hey, why the hell not!

So, I've activated my trial version, am downloading and hopefully tonight will give this game a shot.
Hopefully it'll grab me and I'll go out and buy the World of Warcraft: Battlechest (I've actually had it before, I had 2 copies, but I sold them)

Having said that, I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo OVER this updating story, from one update to another, busy doing a 1.62GB update at 300KB/s - It's uncapped but I'm sick of this now...
 
Aiiiiiiiiiiiii tog! I'm only on 3.3.0a (after this 700MB download) so the latest version is 3.3.3

I am bracing myself for another update!
 
Hahaha. Yeah, that patching is evil. Ive only done it once. Never again. I make sure I keep a backup of the game on an external at all times now.

I'm starting to see why people do this whole 'patch' swopping story... this is bloody pathetic and MWEB's idea of shaping is pissing me off - 10:35pm and I'm only getting 100KB/s
 
lol... yea well, when the patch is done you don't get a big one every week or whatever, so it's quite enjoyable unless they add content or do a major fix/change to it which doesn't happen often though. I'm ready to rock and roll again as soon as Noble Garden starts, ran out of gametime and need to pay some bills to check if I can afford to play again :p

If you want to try Alliance side make a toon on Bonze Dragonflight or if you want to play Horde, Spinebreaker. I'll hook you up with some gold, bags and what not to get you started.

Just a suggestion :p
 
On this topic, i one day decided to stop, just got home that faithfull day, 10 months back and decided, no more wow,

Well a week ago i decided its time to get back on the horse.

Anyone in pretoria that can help me out with the patches after 3.1

Nea, was busy doing studies. I'm prep'd now just waiting for my exam dates then I'll study again for a week or so prior.
I've been on and off of wow for about a year. Not as hardcore as before, but still enjoy doing nothing in WoW :D
