So Im dropping kubuntu for ubuntu shock horror GNOME I HEAR YOU SAY!!! That being said I find kde currently too bugged to be of use to me - serious issues

My apt-get corrupts when using a frontend and tons of other issues want to see whether ubuntu has the same crap - annoying stuff

Although seriously, I'm on gnome at the moment and it's growing on me slowly. I don't think that it's about gnome vs kde per se - I just think that the primary version of ubuntu has gnome, and that as a result the gnome version is more polished.
