Correct,but how will it work on a PC,especially if I'm planning to use the CellC modem.
 
A friend applied for this service over a month ago, and he is STILL waiting for Telkom to provide what he applied for... And he's in a coverage area.

Just thought I'd drop that 2cents in there. ;-)
 
Your friends hasn't spoken to the 8ta rep has he?

@ Nevadayz - Are you referring to the "reps" that so gladly accept your intention to apply and use the offered service, but then are never available again?

He has gotten tired of calling 8ta / Telkom to get someone to clarify the status of his application...

His last resort is to physically walk into a Telkom branch and sort out what should have been sorted out via telephone.

Great customer service.
 
Truly some of the guys that work for these companies know jack, but what about the 8ta rep on mybb?
when I was having issues with setting up my account, he got info and moved the process along. Speak to him strong is he with the force....

What do you need to have with you at the shop when signing up? Will my drivers license do and proof of address?

Drivers licence is not a valid form of identification (as it does not show your full name(s)).

Just trying to save myself a trip to the bank, as e-statements off the internet banking usually doesn't work. Knowing myself I will be missing month 2's statements...

My idea is to plug the dongle into a wireless router, so that my wife and I can use it at home on our own laptops. Is this possible and do I need a specific type of router?
