Ok if the Difference is so extremely HUGE between 2 towers, in Durban and Pretoria(Sunnyside)...what did they do wrong to our tower then?

And if the contention ratio can influence ping times.../shrug

something is wrong here... i was getting downloads between 12 and 17k a second last night in the wee hours of the morning... but before 11 it was CRAP!

and what happens is that it starts off allright, and then gradually dies down to nothing...

something's definately amuck with these towers. both 82 and 12...

fix the bloody things you a-holes!!! (just in case Me. Potgieter is reading this)

Good day <<<privet>>>
To be quit honest we have a solution for the speed problem. We just need a way of implementing it at this moment. We have not forgotten about you because you are a valued customer. We just need a bit of time to work out the implementations. Thank you for understanding and please stay in contact.

> Hi Support,
>
> New day... same questions...
> - from my tests the speed issue has not been resolved.
> - do you have any estimate as to when it will be resolved?

ja... I hear what you are saying. am I the only still having problems then? Are they applying the fix one subscriber at a time?

Good day <<<privet>>>
Technical support is still working on the problem and the solution would be implemented once it has been finalised and you would be notified of the solution

> Hi Support,
>
> Thanks for the assurance that the problem is still getting
> attention. I have been waiting very patiently for you to
> fix this. From other emails you stated that it would have
> been fixed last week Friday. Clearly this did not happen...
> I am getting to a point where:
> - surely you can tell me exactly what the problem is
> - surely you can tell me exactly what the solution is
> - surely you can tell me more or less when the solution
> will be implemented.

So here is the Million Dollar Question, once again...Is it Fixed?

How stable = Download Speeds?
How Stable = Ping Times?
How Stable = Packet Loss?

I havent been able to test for a while and would like to know if it is worthit once I get home...

Specially the infamous Sunnyside Tower...

I can tell you that Sunnyside is seeing its 4ss again. Things were cool from 17:00 Friday until about 18:00 Sunday. Thereafter its the same old jumpy speeds and slow responsiveness. Why cant they just leave it alone when its working?

'cos that would mean happy customers - and HEAVEN forbid that!!! :/
