so what are my 10mb options?

My exchange has been upgraded to 10mb and I was like Yay!! ... then thought now what? So I'm still on 4mb with mweb uncapped.

OpenWeb Afterhours Gold seems pretty good. My exchange just got upgraded in the last month or so. so i'll be giving them a call in a couple weeks as i cancelled with Mweb yesterday.

Sorry, missed that. I guess the OP could try signing up for two 4MB uncapped accounts and running them simultaneously from two different computers (or maybe even the same one if possible). Maybe there's a way to team the two connections so they download as if they were a single 8MB connection.

umm yup, you switch modem to "dailup mode"(bridge mode), then you dail accounts from your pc.

more advanced routers support half bridge mode, then you adsl account on your router and you can dail them up.

p.s new netgear routers not have bridge mode.

You can only have 1 adsl router on one line. Don't think there's a limit to the number of accounts.

Best bet imo:

Get:
4mb uncapped a/c
Couple of gigs of 10mb capable capped a/c

Then grab Pada's traffic splitter to route the heavy downloads over the 4mb and everything else over the 10mb. That way browsing is @10mb, without having to pay for 10mb uncapped.

This won't work for torrents though since you can't pin them down to a specific IP range for the routing. Newsserver etc will be fine though.
